Refund Policy

We want you to feel good about paying for ClearHold. Here's what our refund policy looks like.

Inspect freely. Refund closes when you take the deliverable.

The accountant pack comes in two states. Draft packs are watermarked NOT FOR FILING and are always available. Download them as many times as you like to inspect the quality. File-ready packs (watermark removed) are generated only when you click Generate file-ready pack and confirm. Generating a file-ready pack is the moment you take the deliverable, and that's when the no-questions refund window closes.

Core monthly subscription

Standard rate: NZ$24.90/mo incl GST, after a 14-day free trial. Founder rate: NZ$14.90/mo incl GST, after a 30-day free trial, available until the cohort closes at 50 sign-ups or on 31 March 2027, whichever comes first, and held while the subscription stays active.

Your trial starts when you add your first property, not when you create your account. On the Standard rate, generating a file-ready pack is enabled once your first payment is taken; during the 14-day Standard trial you can download draft packs but not file-ready ones. Founder-rate customers can generate a file-ready pack during their trial.

Full refund of any amount charged within 30 days of your first paid charge, or until you generate your first file-ready accountant pack, whichever comes first. Email hello@clearhold.nz.

After that, you can cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation stops future charges; we don't pro-rate the current month, and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy overrides your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If the Service isn't fit for purpose or doesn't match what we describe, you're entitled to a remedy under the Act regardless of the refund windows above.

How to request a refund

Email hello@clearhold.nz from the email address on your ClearHold account. Include the invoice ID if you have it (it's on your receipt). We'll process eligible refunds within 5 business days back to the original payment method.
